Let’s talk about your wedding plans, how we work as a company and what you can come to expect from working with Sandy Prints Photography capturing your wedding photography!

Our Initial Meeting

Getting to know who you will be working with is super important! During our initial meeting we will talk about everything from your relationship, how you met, what your expectations are for your photography and you dreams for your big day. We will get to know each other and see if we are the right fit. It is important to be 100% comfortable. I will ask you a series of questions to pin point what you are looking for in your wedding photography and will answer any questions you also may have.

Looking at Wedding Packages

We will look at our current packages together. We will also decide what items you would like to have included and what you are looking for in your wedding day coverage. Once you decide on a package that is right for you, we will set you up with a client portal where you will find an agreement to sign and an invoice for your retainer fee to hold your date.

Meeting Again

We will schedule a time to meet again prior to your wedding. This could be at an engagement session, venue walk-thru, or both. We enjoy our time with our clients and your comfort is important to us. It is also enjoyable to walk through your photography vision at your venues beforehand.

Time Line Planning and Shot List for your Wedding Photography

As we move closer to your wedding day, we have some planning we do together. We have created an easy worksheet to complete to help organize and lay out your timeline. If needed, we do also offer our help with laying your timeline out in a template for you to keep and print out to fellow vendors. Even closer to your wedding day, we finalized your shot list through a form sent to your client platform. Our goal is to finalize all your details and have all special photo requests saved so we prepare for your day the best we that we can!

Your Wedding Day

Yay! This is where the fun begins! When your wedding day arrives, you can relax and enjoy your day while we capture all the important moments and details. We are more interactive and by your side for the beginning part of your day if we are capturing prep photos. We give you all the directions and cues that you need to flow through your portraits. And then, for the remainder of your event, we try to blend in with your guests and event and capture from a far. We want your day to be about you and your guests 100%!

Post Processing & Design

Typically the very next day after your event, you will receive an email from us with information on what to expect next. We try and have a sneak peek prepared for you on our social platforms within the first 4 to 5 days. And then our typically turn around time falls somewhere between 4 weeks and 8 week depending on the busy-ness of the season.

When your photos are completely edited, we’ll connect with you and choose whether to set up a time to get together in person to view proofs or set up a virtual meeting. We will then make image selections for your album, cover and any additional extras.
